Mounting ShaftSaverPro on a graphite golf shaft
Instructions for mounting ShaftSaverPro
- Preparation: Mount the ShaftSaverPro at room temperature. Place the club in the bag and determine the (future) wear spot.
- Marking: Clamp the ShaftSaverPro onto that spot. Mark the top with masking tape and place a pencil line in the center.
- Adhesion: Lightly sand the inside of the ShaftSaverPro. Thoroughly degrease both the shaft and the inside of the ShaftSaverPro (e.g., with alcohol).
- Applying tape: Remove the release paper from one side of the tape. Apply the tape lengthwise to the shaft, 2 mm below the masking tape. The tape is smaller than the ShaftSaverPro.
- Mounting: Remove the remaining release paper. Fold the ShaftSaverPro open and clamp it centered on the tape. Squeeze firmly along the entire length.
- Result: Optimal adhesion is achieved after 24 hours.
