Equipment Preservation & Enjoyment
The ShaftSaverPro is for golfers who simply want to take good care of their equipment. Because we have chosen a durable 1.5mm protective layer, the product technically deviates from the R&A standard for official tournaments and qualifying rounds, even though the ShaftSaverPro has no noticeable effect on the swing or ball flight. This means that the protective item officially may not be used during competitions or when playing for a handicap (Q-cards).
In practice, however, many golfers — including ourselves — choose to preserve their valuable shafts during their weekly rounds and tournament play. We play for fun and want to prevent unnecessary wear and tear. For us, the sport goes hand in hand with keeping our gear in top condition. We would rather be prepared for a friendly round with intact equipment than be guided by a strict rule that has little impact on amateurs.
